Image upload size

Hi 
I want to restrict user can only upload image under 1mb.

Is the setup above correct?

It seems not works? Still could upload 4mb image frontend.

 

Or do you have any recommend "image compress plugin" that could work with forumWP?

 

BTW, after user click "upload" button to upload image.

Is it possible to show some loading animation let user know their image is uploading.

Or do you provide any hook to achieve this?
