Forums no longer visible to users other than admin after upgrade to 2.0 and pro

Hi, 

After updating the plugin to version 2.0, installing the pro plugin and upgrading my database, everything is working for me as an admin. But my users can no longer access any forums or topics. The plugin says 'No forums were created.' All the forums are set to public and yet no one but me can see them... I have tried setting one to private and then back to public, but that didn't help. Any ideas on what else I could try?
