Forum broken with WP Core 6.5+?

We're using forumwp and noticed when testing a WP Core update to 6.5.x the forums appear to stick on an AJAX callback to load the content. This manifests itself as the browser lacking a vertical scrollbar and being unable to scroll down to read later posts or content within them. Our website maintainer raised this on 20th May and was advised a new release was coming soon that would address this. Could you confirm when this release will be available and whether it will fix the scroll issue, please? It's quite important as this is blocking WP core updates that contain security fixes. Thanks
