Login error messages don’t show up after ForumWP installed with Ultimate Member

I have an Ultimate Member website. The login form reported errors when a user logged in incorrectly. Then I added ForumWP Pro. Now the login page does not show an error when the user enters their login information incorrectly. It simply re-loads the page. This is confusing to users. If I deactivate ForumWP, the error message for invalid login shows up on the form. Reactivate ForumWP and no login errors. I would appreciate some help. Thanks.
