Forum Image is Doubled Since Forum WP 2.x update

Since the update to version 2.1.0, if you have an image set for a forum, then it is doubled. If it is simply an icon, then it is fine. When inspecting the code, the img tag appears twice. This second image immediately underneath the first shows up behind the new topic button. I have switched to different themes and the issue is the same. I definitely narrowed it down to the forum update.
