Changes to the templates for the emails are no longer applied (WP 5.5.3)

Hello all,

as I already stated in the other support topic (https://forumwpplugin.com/topic/bug-in-wordpress-version-5-6-black-box-in-the-upper-left-corner-of-the-browser/), there are still some problems with ForumWP and WP 5.6. Because of this I have downgraded to WP 5.5.3 for the time being.

All frontend bugs I could fix with the downgrade. However, I now still have the problem that the changes to the email templates are not applied when I press Save Changes.

Now my question, can I change the template manually via FTP or in the database? If so, where is my custom template filed and saved? Where can I find it?
